Robot Mixologists Replacing Human Bartenders

Proponents of robot mixologists like KIME hope the changes it ushers in will ultimately enhance customer experiences, especially in the areas of customer service and order personalization. A robot waiter or bartender will, they predict, never forget your order or check on your table. At the same time, it will be an impeccable repository of all information about menu and drink items. 

Although, as impressive as such a future would be, the prospect of rendering millions of Americans jobless with the introduction of widespread automation inspires real fear. And such concerns are understandable. 

For now, though, we’ll have to wait and see what automation in the service industry…serves up.
